Privacy notice
Last updated 3 August 2026
AirfieldFees.co.uk (“we”, “us”) is an independent directory of UK general aviation landing fees, currently in pre-launch. This notice explains what personal data we collect right now — essentially, the email address you give us to join the waitlist — why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect and why
- Your email address, when you join the launch waitlist, pluswhether you opted in to marketing. We use your email to tell you when the site goes live and, only if you ticked the box, to send occasional AirfieldFees updates. Lawful basis: your consent.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard information such as your IP address and browser type to serve and secure the site. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a safe, working website.
Who processes it
We don’t sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is handled on our behalf only by the suppliers that run the service:
- Netlify — hosts the site and stores waitlist form submissions.
- Our email provider — delivers and forwards email you exchange with us.
Cookies and tracking
This waitlist page sets no advertising or analytics cookies. When the full airfield directory launches (with accounts, maps and possibly advertising), we’ll update this notice to cover those before you use them.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe — whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time — every marketing email has a link, or just email us.
- Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Send us a request here and we’ll action it.
- If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
