The airfield sits in a very built-up area, almost entirely ringed by roads, railways and houses: STRICT circuit and aerobatic procedures apply and every pilot, member or visitor, must read and comply — be especially considerate with a constant-speed propeller. SkyDemon and Google Earth files for the RW29 circuit are published on the club site. Reputedly Europe’s largest civilian grass airfield at about 200 acres, with eight runway designations and around 150 based aircraft. Home of West London Aero Club, with a famously good clubhouse restaurant.
